Here we offer historic wood
windows that will meet the requirements of the historical associations in
Old Town Alexandria, Capitol Hill, Georgetown, the rest of
Washington DC, Federal Hill, Fells Point and
Annapolis too.
There are a variety of
requirements in the different historical areas and you can rest assured that
we offer products that meet the requirements in every neighborhood.

great and the prices are low we don't need to use the old hard sell tricks.
The absolute most important aspect of our wood
window lines is the AuraLast Wood. This is a completely non-toxic
treatment that allows us to offer an unprecedented 20 Year
Warranty on our wood windows. Looking great doesn't matter
much if the windows don't last.
There are 3 main types of wood windows and we offer
them all. They are:
1. Sash replacement
This option is the most budget friendly and it is
almost always approved due to the historical options.
2. Pocket replacement
This is a great option when the existing windows
aren't in the best shape. The best part about this option is that the
existing interior trim can remain untouched and looking great. One
possible downside is that this type of window might not always be approved
depending on the specific requirements of your historical association.
3. Full frame replacement
This option involves removing the entire existing
window frame down the rough opening. Then we install a complete new
window with a new frame, new interior trim and new exterior trim or
brickmould. This option involves the most construction. The
upside is that it is always approved by every association everywhere.
 So far so good, but
what colors and styles are available?
The best part about our wood window department is that
we offer all types of windows. Whether you're looking for big or small,
narrow or wide, all wood or clad, square or round we have the windows for you.
The clad windows have a weather resistant aluminum
cladding on the exterior to protect the window and eliminate the need for
painting. The color options for the aluminum cladding are below.
Okay the windows look good, but what kind of
installation can I expect?
You can expect very professional courteous
installers that take the time to do the job right. All of our window &
door installers have a minimum of 5 years experience installing wood windows and entry doors.
In addition, our installation package includes
Custom Exterior Trim (also called capping) when applicable. It will protect your wood trim and give your
new windows a very complete look with a maintenance free finish.
If fact, the trim we use comes with a 30-Year
Written Warranty on the finish. Most other trim products in the
industry offer NO WARRANTY. We only use the best materials in
the business.
